Your understanding of your partner deepens to the point that things need no longer be spoken. You can finish each others' sentences and anticipate what the other will think or do. This morning Betty, Jim's wife, must rely on him knowing what she wants. Can a mere 'man' do the right thing? He tries his best, and through his actions he spells out for us a love which should be spoken. This is The Morning News.

This showing is the Northern Ireland premier of this film. It documents the true story of the final weeks of rehearsal for the Young @ Heart Chorus in Northampton, MA, whose average age is 81, and many of whom must overcome health adversities to participate. Their music is unexpected, going against the stereotype of their age group, performing songs, for example, by James Brown and Sonic Youth. This account focuses on preparing new songs, not an easy endeavour, for a concert in their home town, which succeeds in spite of several real heartbreaking events.
